NYC: SUE & EDD'S FABULOUS CHRISTMAS SHOW RETURNS!
FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Edd Clark and Sue Matsuki kick off the holiday season by bringing their annual show, Sue & Edd's FABULOUS Christmas Show for 2 performances to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788). Performances are Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, December 7th at 3:00 pm. She's a little bit jazzy and he's a little bit legit; she's a multi-MAC Award winner and he's a Bistro Award winner; together they're returning with their annual show to ring in the holiday season! Music Director Paul Stephan has created the arrangements for these award winning singers that make Sue and Edd's FABULOUS Christmas Show a celebration of the wonderful music of the Christmas and a perfect way to get into the spirit of the season. The show features new takes on such familiar holiday carols as "Susy Snowflake", and new holiday classics such as "My Old Family Quilt". The Thursday performance will be a fundraiser for New Alternatives for LGBT Homeless Youth. The mission of the organization is to increase the self-sufficiency of homeless LGBT youth to enable them to "go beyond" the shelter system and transition into stable adult lives. For the Sunday performance, they're supporting the toy drive for Help is on the Way Today . The mission at Help Is On The Way Today is to raise and distribute funds to NYC based organizations that support children and young adults living with HIV/AIDS. Donate a toy at the door, and receive $5 off the cover. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Seth Rudetsky's BROADWAY CHATTERBOX returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Thursdays at 5:00 pm. This week's Special Guest Star: TONY Award Nominee Jeremy Jordan. Seth's weekly interview show always features stars, soon-to-be stars and folks behind the scenes of the musical theater stage - for just a $10 cover - 2-drink minimum. NYC: SHELLY BURCH IN 'INCURABLY ROMANTIC'
Shelly Burch will bring 'Incurably Romantic' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for the final performance of her 2 month series of show on Thursday, December 4th, at 7:00 pm. She will be accompanied by the David Shenton Trio. Shelly is well known to New York audiences for her roles in Broadway shows such as Annie, Stop the World (with Sammy Davis Jr.) and as Claudia in the original company of Tommy Tune's Nine. She was also revered by the TV-viewing nation as the delightfully devilish Delila on One Life to Live, a role she played for eight tempestuous years. Shelly is returning to the NY cabaret scene with 'Incurably Romantic', a musical entertainment conceived and directed by her Tony, Grammy and Emmy award-winning husband, theatrical legend Martin Charnin, the creator, lyricist and director of, among many other productions, Broadway's Annie. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BEN RIMALOWER DEBUTS NEW PLAY "BAD WITH MONEY" 

Ben Rimalower debuts new play "Bad With Money" at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE(61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) running on Mondays at 7:00 pm through December 29th and Thursdays at 9:30 pm through December 18th. Ben Rimalower's addiction to spending beyond his means has driven him to extreme lengths all his life. In BAD WITH MONEY he charts his sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing struggle to overcome his problem - or get rich trying. "Bad With Money" is written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark. Rimalower's first solo show, the long-running hit Patti Issues, explored his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father. Bad with Money delves into even deeper personal territory with the story of his struggle with debt - a journey that takes him through drug addiction, prostitution, fraud and multiple betrayals. There is a $25-$50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: BROADWAY SESSIONS THURSDAYS AT THE LAURIE BEECHMAN

Every Thursday night, as the curtains fall on Broadway, Host Ben Cameron (from Broadway's Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and his crew of amazingly talented folks welcome a new Broadway star to perform at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) at 10:30 pm in this fun and zany musical theater variety show. Get up close and personal with Broadway's brightest as the stars bare their souls, interact with the crowd and celebrate all things BROADWAY. There is a $5 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum. 

NYC: IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY

It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play will be presented at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, December 4th at 6:30 pm and Friday, December 5th at 9:30 pm. This timeless holiday classic comes to the stage as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with on-stage sound effects by a real Foley artist. All the familiar faces - from cold-hearted banker Mr. Potter to small-town siren Violet to quirky guardian angel Clarence - are on hand to tell the story of George Bailey, a typical American who considers ending his life one Christmas eve. This fun, inventive take on a classic story of love and redemption aims to transport audiences back in time, and remind all of us that "no man is a failure who has friends." NYC: MATT DOYLE & THE WHISKEY 5 AT 54 BELOW

Matt Doyle and The Whiskey 5 return to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) for a holiday engagement on Thursday, December 4th and Tuesday, December 23rd, both shows at 9:30 pm. Arranged by composer, Will Van Dyke, the evening will be jam packed with holiday classics. Expect to hear favorites such as "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "Sleigh Ride", "What Child is This", "The Christmas Song", and many more. Special guests will range from Tony-nominated Broadway stars to Matt's dearest friends and family. The December 4th show will be recorded live for an official album release. There is a $30-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: STEVE TYRELL AT THE CAFE CARLYLE THROUGH DECEMBER 31st

Steve Tyrell returns for this annual Holiday season performances at THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) on Tuesdays through Saturdays, November 25th through December 31st (no show December 25th) at 8:45 pm with additional late shows on Friday & Saturdays at 10:45 pm. Grammy Award-winning vocalist Steve Tyrell is truly a renaissance man. In over four decades in the music business, he has achieved great success as an artist, producer, songwriter, music supervisor, and performer. In 2005, after the passing of the legendary Bobby Short, Steve was asked by New York City's Cafe Carlyle to take over their revered Holiday Season of November and December, which Mr. Short had not missed for 36 years. In 2013 Tyrell's contract was extended through his 11th season, starting a new Carlyle legacy that now also includes performances in May.
