SAN DIEGO: THREE DIVAS-A LOVER, A LOT & A LIBRARIAN

'Three Divas - A Lover, A Lot & A Librarian' will be presented atMARTINI'S ABOVE FOURTH (3940 4th Avenue, San Diego, CA - 619-400-4500) on Tuesday, April 15th at 7:30 pm. The performers are: David Mcbean: the quintessential performer with vocals too amazing to quantify; Eileen Bowman: beautiful, crazy talented, hilariously funny, and a heart of gold; and Leigh Scarritt: THE diva - recent winner of the Schroeder Award signifying excellence in cabaret performing. All three on one stage. With Musical Director Rayme Sciaroni. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

The Tommy Igoe Big Band performs at YOSHI'S (1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600) on select Tuesday nights at 8:00 pm featuring 15 of the Bay Area's finest musicians!. Tommy Igoe is one of the world's most prominent drummers and bandleaders. He began drumming at the age of two and has gone on to craft a unique and diverse career traveling the world with many iconic artists, both as drummer and music director. In 1997, he created the drum book for Disney's "The Lion King," a seminal Broadway event performed in more than 50 countries around the world. During his time with the original company, he served as principal drummer and conductor. He has also created several of the world's best-selling music education titles including "Groove Essentials" and "Great Hands For A Lifetime" with the original "Groove Essentials" poster fast approaching 500,000 copies. His new Bay Area recording studio serves both as a world-class recording facility and education site for online and private sessions. For the last seven years, his Birdland Big Band has been the most popular weekly music event in New York City, maintaining a Friday residency at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club.
