TONIGHT NYC: ALAN SIMON TAKES THE LONG WAY HOME

Alan Simon brings his show The Long Way Home to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00 pm. The show is playful, poignant, and powerful and is driven by an eclectic songbook of composers with such diverse talents as Abe Burrows, Lebo M., Bob Merrill, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Will Smith, Jules Styne, and Tom Waits. Some of the songs performed in the evening's entertainment include "Brooklyn, U.S.A.," "Playing Right Field," "Errol Flynn," "Robert Frost," "Panache," "Lazy Day," "Quality Time," and "Back In the Highlife," among others Kimberly Vaughn directs and the music director is Joshua Stephen Kartes. There is a $15 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
