Singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, actress, painter, inventor, shaman, curator, author and presenter... Legere is an internationally acclaimed transmedia artist. The show will celebrate the American release of her new CD live "East Village/East Berlin" with Alive and Well! - a wild mixture of music, painting and memoir featuring special guest star Joey Arias, who was featured with Legere in the classic cult film MONDO NEW YORK! In Alive and Well! Legere takes her audience on a journey from her Native American roots to her life in the New York underground scene. Maestro Legere combines avant-garde jazz, traditional Native American melodies, classical and electronic music with charming wit, scintillating costumes and live painting. Legere has just returned from a phenomenally successful European tour in which she garnered raves from critics. There is a $25 cover.
