TONIGHT IN DC: THE CAPITAL BONES ALL BRASS BAND AT BLUES ALLEY
The Capital Bones All Brass Band will perform at BLUES ALLEY(1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141 - ) on Tuesday, April 30th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. The Capitol Bones is an innovative and progressive jazz trombone ensemble based out of Washington, DC. In the rarefied world of trombone quintet with rhythm section the music is the thing; this group focuses on, new, creative and intriguing music. Style, ensemble and powerful soloing are the calling cards of the Capitol Bones. The Capitol Bones have performed around the U.S. as featured artists/clinicians at the International Trombone Festival in Nevada, New York, Illinois and Utah, as well as many concert venues including NY, Alaska, California, Texas, and universities and conservatories throughout the nation.
