These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/daughter team in show biz history. David Maiocco as Mort Lindsay will musical direct. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Acclaimed for her roles on the West End, British television, and, for five seasons in Seattle and San Francisco in "Teatro ZinZanni," Stace premieres a new show "Steppin' Out," backed by a four-piece band led by the pianist and music director Doug Oberhamer. A widely recognized television personality in her native Britain, Stace alternates between concerts and theatre on the West Coast and in London. "Steppin' Out" features a widely eclectic repertoire of songs that swing liberally between contemporary and vintage musical and show business reference points. Gary Negbaur will be performing a solo show of all original material at TOMI JAZZ (239 East 53rd Street, NYC - 646-497-1254) on Friday, July 22nd with sets from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. Pianist/singer/ songwriter Gary Negbaur has toured across the USA, Europe and Australia wowing audiences with his heartfelt and often humorous originals along with his innovative arrangements of standards. His recordings include a CD of original music (Let Me Explain) as well as a critically acclaimed solo album of standards (Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat) and a children's CD (Max's Family Band). In addition to performing, Gary writes music for theater and film, and many of his songs are performed and recorded by other singers. There is a $10 charge and a $10 minimum.

THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC- 212-840-2824), presents the 5th Annual Summer Broadway Festival, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Presented on three consecutive Monday nights in July at 8:00 pm the second show of the series, BROADWAY'S RISING STARS will be presented on July 18th, and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' on July 25th. The evenings will feature music and dance coupled with witty insider tidbits, all performed by Broadway's finest. BROADWAY'S RISING STARS on July 18th is once again directed by Nightlife Award-winning vocalist Scott Coulter. The next generation of Broadway performers were chosen during auditions throughout the spring and come from theatrical institutions across the country, including AMDA, CAP21, Steinhardt, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Carnegie Melon, Marymount and The New School. These young future performers will make their auspicious debut on The Town Hall stage in what has now become regarded as the country's national showcase. Tickets are $40 & $30.

The Third Annual BROADWAY MEOWS, a concert to benefit the HUMANE SOCIETY OF NEW YORK will be presented at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788), one night only, on Monday, July 18th at 7:00 pm. The evening will be comprised of songs by composer/ lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh. Bisen-Hersh will be joined on stage by a phenomenal cast including Lanene Charters (Mamma Mia), Brian Childers (Danny and Sylvia), Sean Patrick Doyle (La Cage aux Folles), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Gaelen Gillilan (9 to 5), Kimberly Faye Greenberg (One Night with Fanny Brice), Lara Janine (Rock of Ages), Stephanie Klemons (Bring It On), Ryan Link (Wonderland), Garrett Long (South Pacific), Olivia Oguma (Les Miserables), Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera), Mackenzie Thomas (Mamma Mia), Kristen Beth Williams (Anything Goes) and Elisa Winter (Sweeney Todd). The concert will also feature a preview of Seth Bisen-Hersh's upcoming Off-Broadway musical, Love Quirks featuring its original cast: Crystal Davidson, Nathan Freeman, Rori Nogee and Brian Shaw. The concert will be produced by Dennis Fowler, directed by Laura Pestronk, stage managed by Rich Abrams with Emma Peele coordinating production. All the proceeds for the evening will go to the Humane Society of New York, which has "cared for animals in need when illness, injury or homelessness strikes" for over 100 years. NYC: JULIE HALSTON RETURNS IN OLD, NEW, BORROWED, BLUE

Jim Caruso presents Broadway and television personality Julie Halston at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080) on Monday, July 11th at 7:00 pm. Her show, Old, New, Borrowed, Blue, is part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series. Julie returns in this brand new show, which will combine her usual hysterical observations of life, show biz and the fall of Western Civilization. Ms. Halston is one of the busiest actress/comediennes working today. She is currently starring in Charles Busch's new play, Olive and the Bitter Herbs at Primary Stages, opening in July. She was recently re-teamed with Busch off-Broadway in The Divine Sister, for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. She also played Tina Carmello on the CBS sitcom "The Class" to great acclaim several seasons ago. Well-known to theatre audiences, she was last seen on Broadway in Hairspray after receiving rave reviews (as well as receiving Drama Desk and Drama League nominations) for her performance in William Hamilton's White Chocolate. Baby Jane Dexter returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for a special summer encore engagement celebrating the release of her new live CD, "The Real World" on Quannacut Records. Opening on Friday, July 8th at 7:00 pm, the show will run two consecutive weekends on Fridays & Saturdays through July 16th. This show, which enjoyed a sold out run in November and December 2010, has been hailed by many critics as her finest show to date by this beloved artist who continues to top herself in what is one of the greatest comebacks in the history of night life. Her acclaimed, long time musical partner Ross Patterson will again be her musical director. The winner of the 2010 MAC Award for Jazz Vocalist by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs, Mary Foster Conklin, will be returning to the THE ROYAL ROOM at THE COLONY HOTEL (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-659-8100) on Fridays & Saturdays, July 8th & 9th and 15th & 16th. Mary Foster Conklin is a true jazz original. Her hip, smoky style has been described as both recognizably traditional yet unmistakably contemporary, as she puts her personal stamp on a smart repertoire that spans over eight decades. Her sets are a mix of contemporary material and standards, with an emphasis on the lesser-known treasures of the Great American Songbook. A natural storyteller, Conklin has wowed audiences at The Blue Note, The Iridium, The Metropolitan Room, Sweet Rhythm and the Triad Theatre in New York, as well as The Plush Room in San Francisco and the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles. There is a $100 cover for dinner & show; $65 for show only.

METROJAM, the weekly cabaret/jazz open mic event held at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), will have its next show on Friday, July 8th at 10:00 pm, featuring host Jenna Esposito. The show will continue every Friday night in July. Accompaniment is provided by the MetroJam house band: John DiPinto on piano, Ritt Henn on bass, and Bobby Sher on drums. Each week, Jenna welcomes a special guest. The special guest for this week is TBA. Open-mic performers have a chance to perform with a full jazz band. If you're planning to perform, please arrive by 9:30 pm to sign up and be sure to bring two copies of your music (uptempo is recommended!). NYC: BABY JANE DEXTER CD RELEASE EVENT

Baby Jane Dexter returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for a special summer encore engagement celebrating the release of her new live CD, "The Real World" on Quannacut Records. Opening on Friday, July 8th at 7:00 pm, the show will run two consecutive weekends on Fridays & Saturdays through July 16th. This show, which enjoyed a sold out run in November and December 2010, has been hailed by many critics as her finest show to date by this beloved artist who continues to top herself in what is one of the greatest comebacks in the history of night life. Her acclaimed, long time musical partner Ross Patterson will again be her musical director. The Real World is a powerful, inspiring and funny potpourri of unique songs and arrangements given Ms. Dexter's one of a kind haunting spin. The eclectic song list includes gems by the likes of Billie Holiday, Janis Ian, Roy Orbison, John Sebastian, Alec Wilder and many more. This marks the release of Ms. Dexter's sixth CD. The winner of many honors, she has received the triple crown in cabaret having been honored with two Bistro awards, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) with six awards and the 2009 & 2010 NY Nightlife Award. Tickets for the Monday, July 4th for the 21st Birthday Party of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE on Wednesday, July 6th at 7:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC ) were sold out and over 100 cabaret performers and fans came to celebrate.

This year's JEFF MATSON AWARD was presented to Eric Michael Gillett as part of the event. The JEFF MATSON AWARD, presented annually by CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE was created to honor the memory of songwriter/ writer/ director/ producer/ graphic designer Jeff Matson, who passed away suddenly on April 2, 2005 from a rare blood disorder. He shared his talents with all who asked, and mentored many performers who have come to be major forces in the cabaret community including Annie Hughes, Richard Skipper, Quinn Lemley, Miles Phillips, Sue Matsuki (just to name a few). He also wrote - very briefly - as a reviewer for CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

In addition, CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE presented a new annual award at this year's 21st BIRTHDAY PARTY - the first SPECIAL CONTRIBUTION TO CABARET award, and the recipient was Katherine (Kitty) Skrobela, founder and CEO of MIRANDA MUSIC, known and loved by cabaret performers everywhere - but especially in NYC.

THIRD and FINAL REPORT ON THE 2011 ADELAIDE CABARET FESTIVAL NOW ON THE WEBSITE

Artistic Director David Campbell completed his third and final Adelaide Cabaret Festival by producing the most successful festival in its 11 year history!

This year's Festival broke all previous box offices achieving an 8% increase on the 2010 Festival. An estimated 95,000 attendances, an increase of 19% was due to people really embracing the whole Festival atmosphere - seeing multiple shows and enjoying the free activities and food and beverage offerings before, after and in-between.

By the end of the final week 35 performances were sold out.
