NYC: ERIC MICHAEL GILLETT: CAST OF THOUSANDS - MUST SEE CABARET

NYC: ERIC MICHAEL GILLETT: CAST OF THOUSANDS

MAC Award-winning vocalist and Broadway performer Eric Michael Gillett brings his acclaimed show "Cast of Thousands" featuring the music of Craig Carnelia, to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) for one more performances, on Monday July 18th at 7:00 pm. Eric is considered by many to be the foremost interpreter of this Broadway and cabaret composer's intricate and moving portraits of contemporary life. Cast of Thousands weaves a rich tapestry of song, as Gillett enacts the lives of the thousands of people with whom we interact every day, but may never come to know. Now, 15 years after it was first performed, Gillett returns to the material that inspired his first songbook collaboration, in an evening that explores not only songs from the original production, but also new material written by Carnelia in the intervening years. The show incorporates songs from the acclaimed scores Is There Life After High School, Working and Three Postcards, as well as contemporary cabaret classics such as Flight and Life on Earth, and new material from Actor, Lawyer, Indian Chief. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
