Singer/ Songwriter Spencer Day returns to THE ROYAL ROOM at THE COLONY HOTEL (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-659-8100 ) on Fridays & Saturdays, June 17th & 18th and 24th & 25th, at 8:00 pm. Widely regarded for his original songs that blend compelling melodies, smart lyrics and lush arrangements Day has wooed audiences at venues as diverse as Birdland in New York, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Feinstein's at the Nikko in San Francisco, Jazz Alley in Seattle, the Pacific Rim Jazz Festival in Manila, the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, Tanglewood Music Center in Boston, and on national television on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. His hit song "Till You Come to Me" reached the number one spot on the Contemporary Jazz Billboard charts. His recent album Daybreak debuted at Number One on the iTunes Jazz Chart and reflects Day's roots in the Great American Songbook, with a contemporary, upbeat twist that has become his signature sound.
