SUNDAY CABARET IN NYC: SINGER CORINNA SOWERS ADLER TO BRING "HIGH STANDARDS" TO THE MET ROOM - MAY 22nd
Singer and actress, CORINNA SOWERS ADLER returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), on Sunday, May 22nd at 7:00 pm for an encore performance of her acclaimed show "High Standards". Musical director/ arranger is Alex Rybeck, and will feature Broadway veteran Lawrence Yurman on piano. The show is a musical journey through some of the best music ever written, reimagined by Mr. Rybeck, including songs by Meredith Wilson, Leonard Bernstein/ Betty Comden & Adolf Green, Leslie Bricusse/ Cyril Ornadel, John Lennon and Joni Mitchell, to name a few. Corinna Sowers Adler's many New York engagements include venues such as Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Feinstein's/54 Below, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, and Stage 72 in her solo shows "Stories", "Songs From the Heart", "The Goddess, Diva and Me" and "By Request". Corinna is the host of the "Music at the Mansion" series. In 2015, Corinna was highly honored to be nominated for the first ever Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
