CHICAGO: NATHAN COOPER - LET'S SING ABOUT IT: A CABARET!

Nathan Cooper brings his show 'Let's Sing About It: A Cabaret!' to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Monday, March 7th, at 8:00 pm. It tells the tale of a performing vagabond, who hits the seven seas in the adventure of a lifetime ... cruise ship performing. But after the party is over, what has his life become? What is left of his land locked relationships and friendships. Join Nathan as he performs the soundtrack to the past few years of his life. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

CHICAGO: MUSICAL MONDAYS RETURNS TO VICTORY GARDENS TONIGHT

On Monday, March 7th, at 7:30 pm, the Musical Mondays series, featuring members and friends on CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals) continues with "American Bandstand" at VICTORY GARDENS BIOGRAPH THEATER (2433 North Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-871-3000). From 1952-1989, teenagers gathered to watch and dance to the Top 40 hits of their day by watching American Bandstand. Hosted by Dick Clark, American Bandstand shaped musical tastes for generations of teenagers. Tina Turner, Frankie Avalon, Jackson 5, ABBA, Donna Summer, Hall & Oats, Madonna ... every Top 40 artist of their day appeared on Bandstand. Celebrating this influential pop culture phenomenon is Cathy Glickman, Sophie Grimm, Scott Gryder, Kyle Husted, Kat Victoria, Melissa Young, With a Twist (Kevin Bishop, Steven Kimbrough, Paul Motando, Nick Sula), and CPS student Jacob Clinkscales. Directed by Melissa Young, the show is Music Directed by Nick Sula. Tickets are $30.
