LONDON: STEVEN BRINBERG IS SIMPLY BARBRA
Due to phenomenal demand, Steven Brinberg returns to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, September 15th through 19th at 8:00 pm with the show 'Simply Barbra celebrates Funny Lady', to coincide with the 40th release of the film Funny Lady, singing numerous songs from the film including the original ones by Kander and Ebb as well as well-known standards that were performed in the film. Musical director Nathan Martin and a different West End guest star accompany Brinberg each night. Want to see the real Barbra Streisand? Steven Brinberg's fans think that he gets closer to the superstar than she does. Steven has been acclaimed for his vocal performance of Barbra Streisand for over a decade around the world. He has also appeared in numerous symphony concerts with the late Marvin Hamlisch and sang at Stephen Sondheim's birthday concert at the Library of Congress in Washington DC. He has released two CDS, 'Live in London' and 'Duets' and has appeared in films such as Camp and Boys Live and in a concert version of Funny Girl on Broadway, featuring Whoopi Goldberg, Kristin Chenoweth.
