NYC: DONNA HAYES RETURNS WITH ORDINARY MIRACLES
Donna Hayes returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, July 19th at 7:00 pm with her acclaimed show "Ordinary Miracles" directed by Gretchen Reinhagen with musical direction by Justin Stoney. Added to the mix for this show are David White on bass and Donna Kelly on drums. Hayes shares her stories through songs ranging from brand new R&B, classic rock, show tunes, oldies to reggae - by artists and songwriters such as Carole King, John Legend, Stephanie Mills, Bob Marley, Coldplay, Tracy Chapman, Kander & Ebb, Phillip Phillips, and more. These are Donna's personal accounts, and the songs that remind her that the world around us is not so ordinary after all. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

PALM SPRINGS, CA: "GOOD TIMES AND BUM TIMES" WITH RON COHN
"Good Times And Bum Times," with Ron Cohn, will be presented at THE ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATRE at the JOSLYN CENTER (73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - TKTS: 760-325-2731) on Sunday, July 19th at 2:00 pm as part of Les Michaels' Sundays In Summer Series. This will be Ron;s 6th annual show in the popular series. Joining Mr. Cohn will be his musical director and pianist, Denis Moreen. Ron Cohn is a former East Coaster with cabaret connections to New York City and Chicago as a performer, director, booking, press and publicity agent. Ron's known for his storytelling and for selecting songs that are 'off the beaten track' and connecting them to famous people, places, and things. "Good Times And Bum Times" will feature songs about the highs and lows of life. His pianist and musical director, Denis Moreen, came to the Desert to retire in 2006, but quickly became in high demand as music director to groups such as California Desert Chorale, Gay Men's Chorus, and Palm Canyon Theatre, and pianist to top singers around the Valley. There is an $11 cash cover sold only at the box office before the show.
