NYC: JOHNNY COPPOLA AT ROCKWELL
Johnny Coppola, a singer, songwriter and producer, performs at ROCKWELL: TABLE & STAGE (1714 Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA - 323-669-1550) on Tuesday, July 21st at 8:00 pm. Coppola has released two albums: The first entitled Hollywood Indigo drew critical acclaim in 2004, and his newest release, called A Shot To The Kisser, is currently available on ITunes and anywhere music is available. He not only sings selections from the Great American Songbook but has also penned several neo-standards; new songs in the style of the post war jet age. Influenced by the great songwriters of the past, his music harkens back to a bye-gone era when no man would leave the house without a necktie and a Fedora and women dressed to kill.
