NYC: 54 SINGS 1776 IN REPRISE OF LAST YEAR'S SMASH SHOW
Back for a second smash year, 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presents '1776" on Saturday & Sunday, July 4th & 5th with performances at 7:00 & 9:30 pm! It is all about patriotism this holiday weekend by spending the evening with our founding fathers! 54 Below is delighted to wave our flag proudly at this most beloved Broadway score when some of New York's most exciting voices proffer these uniquely American tunes. Featured are Abigail Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Martha Jefferson, John Adams - they're all descending upon the 54 BELOW stage for what promises to be the perfect theatrical fit for the Fourth of July! Performers include Michael Halling (The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Boy From Oz, The Pajama Game), Jacob Hoffman (The Vineyard's I'll Be Damned), Rob Maitner (Ground UP's Asymmetric), Daniel Marcus (1776 Revival, Urinetown, The Woman In White), David Alan Marshall (former member of Grammy Award winning Chanticleer), Michael McCormick (1776 Revival, Curtains, Chaplin), Patrick Mellen (Lestat), Kathleen Monteleone (Hands On A Hardbody), Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera, Bedbugs The Musical), Andrew Samonsky (The Hunchback of Notre Dame, South Pacific, Scandalous), Adam Shapiro (HBO's "The Normal Heart"), Lucia Spina (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables) and Paul Michael Valley (1776 Revival, Silence! Ms. Silver has had the honor of touring with the Bob Hope USO Troupe as her way of giving back to our nation's armed services fighting abroad, and she has appeared on many of TV's top shows. But it is the stage that she loves best, whether playing the prominent role of Diana Morales in A Chorus Line, singing for years for the Walt Disney Company or taking her act to sea performing on cruise ships. SAN FRANCISCO. CA: SEX AND THE CITY LIVE! AT THE OASIS
OASIS (298 11th Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-795-3180), San Francisco's hottest new nightclub and cabaret theater, is presenting the hit show Sex and the City LIVE! this summer! Sex and the City LIVE! features the same team behind the sold-out runs from the past four years in San Francisco. Sex and the City LIVE! will run Thursdays through Saturdays, June 4th through July 3rd at 7:00 pm. Sex and the City LIVE! is a send up of the ground-breaking series that ran on HBO from 1998 through 2004. Each performance features two popular episodes, each tackling modern social issues including sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, safe sex, promiscuity, femininity, and of course, shoes - while exploring the complex differences between lasting friendships and true relationships. Directed by D'Arcy Drollinger with costumes by Tria, Sex and the City LIVE! features some of San Francisco's most prominent drag performers including Sue Casa as Carrie Bradshaw, D'Arcy Drollinger as Samantha Jones, Lady Bear as Miranda Hobbs and Hannukah•Lewinsky as Charlotte York. Rounding out the cast are: Adam Roy, L. Ron Hubby, Jordan Wheeler, and Manuel Canari. There is a $25-$30 cover. Premium seating is also available starting with the Cosmopolitan Table for $200, which includes a front row table for four guests, plus four premium 'Carrie Cosmos.' Also available is the Samantha Champagne Table for $500, which includes a front-and-center table for four, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, and a meet-and-greet with the cast immediately following the show. The musical road from Riverside, California to San Diego rambles through Nevada, Oklahoma and almost every state in between, where Carol Curtis traveled as a musician. With a degree in music education from Oklahoma State University, she inspired young minds for several years, only to return to her true calling: cabaret-style singing. Playing the audience as skillfully as she plays piano and guitar, Carol weaves an eclectic mix of torch songs, Broadway and standards into an evening of fun repartee. No cover charge.

Kit and McConnel will perform at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, June 30th through July 4th at 8:00 pm. The duo have won numerous accolades for their witty and musical satire since they teamed up three years ago. This week, they perform 'The Game Is Old', a mixture of old favourites and fresh topicals from their upcoming Edinburgh show. Never afraid to push the jokes, Kit and McConnel poke fun at everyday events and modern cultural happenings, whilst also including a few serious numbers. LONDON: LATE NIGHT JAZZ AT THE CRAZY COQS WITH JAY RAYNER
The renowned restaurant critic, Masterchef judge and sometime jazz pianist Jay Rayner returns to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL(20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Saturdays, July 4th & 11th at 10:30 pm with The Jay Rayner Quartet: Hungry Jazz, an ensemble of top flight musicians performing ninety minutes of tunes from the Great American food and drink songbook as part of the club's Late Night Jazz Series. There will be standards from the likes of Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Blossom Dearie and Dave Frishberg, alongside anecdotes from his life eating out on somebody else's dime. Jay will also share stories about growing up with a mother, Claire Rayner, who was a sex advice columnist. Jay is joined on the 4th by Charlie Pyne on bass, Dave Lewis on sax, with vocals by Pat Gordon Smith. Call for cover/minimum information.
