NYC: METROPOLITAN ROOM STAFF SHOW - TO HELP KIDS
The staff at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) work hard every day to make the Metropolitan Room Experience as magical as possible for the fans of our artist on the nights they perform. Now the staff will take off their aprons, roll up their sleeves and sing their hearts out in our special Staff Show on Thursday, June 11th at 7:00 pm that will make you sing, laugh and dance. This show will benefit Help is on the Way, Today, an organization to helps kids HIV+ and with AIDS. Help Is On The Way Today is a 501c3 New York Non Profit corporation. None of the staff or board members of the organization take a salary. Which means all of the money raised goes to fund the program's purpose: to help children and young adults and to raise and distribute funds to NYC based organizations that support children and young adults living with HIV/AIDS; particularly, those with little or no medical coverage and/or financial support. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: GROUPIES - THE MUSES BEHIND THE LEGENDS OF ROCK & ROLL WITH LAUREN FOX
Rock stars have always taken the spotlight, and the women in the wings have always loved and supported them. It's time for the girls to take center stage in 'Groupies - The Muses Behind the Legends of Rock & Roll', a tribute to the beauties who loved the music so much that they got as close to it as one possibly could performed by Lauren Fox on Thursday, June 11th at 9:30 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Lauren Fox celebrates the woman who started a sexual revolution ... and never looked back! The show features music by Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, George Harrison, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Waylon Jennings and more. Lauren is joined by musical director Jon Weber on piano; Peter Calo on acoustic & electric guitar, mandolin; and Ritt Henn on bass guitar. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: THE VAUDEVILLIANS - THE ORIGINAL SHOW
The Vaudevillians returns to NYC on Thursday, June 11th at 7:00 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE(407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) This is the original hit show that introduced Kitty Witless and Dr. Dan von Dandy atarting in 2013. The follow-up show, The Vaudevillians: Bringing Up Baby is also playing in rotation at The Beechman! Throughout the 1920's Kitty Witless and Dr. Dan Von Dandy toured speakeasies and burlesque theaters through the United States as THE VAUDEVILLIANS, wowing audiences with their edgy, original music. Unfortunately, one day, tragedy struck. While touring through Antarctica, they were victims of a devastating avalanche and were buried under two tons of sleet and snow - instantly freezing them alive. But thanks to Global Warming, they recently thawed out only to discover that pop artists of various decades had stolen their music and passed it off as their own. Much to their shock and chagrin. Now, at long last, they are taking to the stage to reclaim their songs, performing their music as originally composed. The Vaudevillians stars RuPaul's Drag Race sensation Jinkx Monsoon as "Kitty Witless" and acclaimed composer and musician Major Scales as Dr.Dan Von Dandy. There is a $25-$50 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: THE CUTTING ROOM PRESENTS: AMY & WILLIE K REUNION
When culture, passion, talent, and knowhow are combined, it results in a refined symbiosis created by two talented, cultured and passionate individuals. Amy Hanaiali'i and Willie K have come together to make great music at THE CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900) on Thursday, June 11th at 7:30 pm. Picking up where they left off a decade ago, these two keenly talented artists combined their love for music, for writing and for their homeland to express their mutual growth in this album. When the duo made the decision to travel their own paths 10 years ago, neither Amy nor Willie K could have foreseen a reunion of this magnitude. The time spent as individual artists have helped to grow their talents as individuals, produce new albums, work on various community causes and raise their families. The hiatus has caused a heightened sense of maturity in their craft for both artists and it is evident in their soon to be released compilation album. NYC: MICHELE LEE: NOBODY DOES IT LIKE ME
Following her acclaimed 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) debut in 2014, this all-new show finds the stunning Michele Lee making a rare appearance in New York for three nights only, on Thursday through Saturday, June 11th through 13th at 7:00 pm. Ms. Lee's new concert spotlights the music of the legendary Cy Coleman, including songs like "Nobody Does it Like Me" and "It's Not Where You Start" from her Tony-nominated performance in the musical Seesaw, along with other magnificent work and some surprises from Coleman's songbook. In celebration of Coleman's life and music, Michele's shows will coincide with what would have been his 86th birthday. One highlight of the new show will be Michele's interpretation of Broadway's lead female character found in many Coleman musicals. Using a medley of his compositions including "Big Spender", "Rules of the Road", "I've Got Your Number" and "I'm Gonna Laugh You Right Out Of My Life", Ms. Lee presents, "a loveable woman with a charitable heart." The show will also feature Coleman favorites "The Best Is Yet To Come," "Witchcraft" and others, from Sweet Charity to City of Angels and beyond. A multiple Emmy and Tony-nominated actor, Michele Lee starred in CBS's Knots Landing, as well as the Broadway blockbusters How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Seesaw, and Tale of the Allergist's Wife. Michele is the consummate "knock 'em dead" entertainer who enthralls audiences, from stories that tickle the funny-bone to ballads that cut deep into the soul. With a brilliant quintet led by Musical Director extraordinaire, Ron Abel, Ms. Lee's engagement at 54 Below, in celebration of Cy Coleman's birthday, will be a fantastic night of flat out fun and stories for the ages. Billy Lewis Jr. ("Glee") and his very special guest (and cousin) Cat Stephani (Janis - One Night with Janis) unleash an evening of unabashed classic rock and roll at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Thursday, June 11th at 9:30 pm. Expect to hear a musical story of the classics that from an early age influenced and helped sculpt them into the unique live performers they are today. Backed by a ferocious rock band led by Musical Director Michael Thomas Murray, they promise bold renditions of some of the most influential artists of all time including Led Zeppelin, The Who, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, Joe Cocker, and many more. Billy Lewis Jr. is a NYC based singer/ songwriter/ actor who has just returned from LA where he filmed the 6th and final season of the popular series Glee, as new character "Mason McCarthy." Previously, Billy has been featured in the National tours of We Will Rock You, Hair, and Spring Awakening. In July of 2014 Billy released his debut EP of original music. He is currently heading back to the studio in NYC, with a creative team crafting the next phase of his recording career as an independent original artist. Cat Stephani is a Brooklyn based songwriter and front lady of the indie folk group 'cat cat cat.' Before moving to New York she wrote and directed many a play starring Billy Lewis and her other reluctant cousins in her aunt and uncles living rooms. After years on the stage, Janis Joplin taught Cat to sing the blues when she originated the role of Janis in One Night With Janis Joplin at Portland Center Stage in 2011. The Losers Lounge Battle of the Bands: The B-52's vs. Devo will take place at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE(425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) on Thursday through Saturday, June 11th through 13th. Showtimes are 7:00 pm on Thursday, the 11th; 7:00 & 9:30 pm on Friday the 12th at 7:00 & 9:30 pm; and 6:30 & 9:00 pm on Saturday, June 13th; plus an additional matinee show on Saturday, the 13th at 2:00 pm. New Wave is The Only Wave this weekend at Joe's Pub - come ride it out with The Losers Lounge for six jam-packed performances, featuring irreverent antics and special guests! NYC: LOVE RABBIT: THE MUSIC OF PAUL BRILL AND ELIZABETH ZIMAN
Elizabeth Ziman and Paul Brill, who met sharing stages with their respective bands in 2010 and soon forged a successful writing partnership for film and television, bring their show 'Love Rabbit' to JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555) on Thursday, June 11th at 9:30 pm. Together the two have scored a wide variety of award-winning feature films and television specials, ranging from documentaries to romantic comedies, program themes, and even a selection alongside such legends as Daft Punk and Animal Collective on a Fraggle Rock tribute compilation. Ziman and Brill will bring their recent compositions to life accompanied by a wide range of collaborators and renowned instrumentalists. The two will also perform favorite selections from their song catalogs and will welcome a number of special guest performances. There is a $15 cover.
