Jenifer French & Friends present "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Saturday, June 13th at 8:00 pm. The show pays loving tribute to the Oscar & Grammy award winning songwriters, Richard M. & Robert B. Sherman. Revisit the beloved songs of your childhood in this fun, rollicking, sing-along musical tribute featuring a swingin' jazz quartet and find yourself asking, "They wrote that song too?" The Sherman Brothers composed more than 50 iconic motion picture song scores, numerous Broadway stage productions, countless songs for TV, theme park songs, chart topping hits for pop recording artists, and over 1,000 well-known published songs! Song selections come from such musical classics as The Jungle Book, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Aristocats, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Winnie the Pooh, Charlotte's Web, The Parent Trap, That Darn Cat, and more! Jenifer French is a Chicago-based jazz and blues vocalist who has been performing since 1999. The show features: Jenifer French, Jim Cox (bass), Phil Gratteau (drums), Adam Haus (guitar & ukulele), George Howe (piano), and Daryl Nitz. Musical Director: George Howe. Director: Daryl Nitz. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
