LONDON: BEN STOCK AT THE CRAZY COQS

West End and UK theatre actor Ben Stock presents his new show 'And There Was Music" at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Thursday, May 26th through 28th at 8:00 pm. The show is a celebration of the songs and music that have influenced his career and life to date. From panto to Pinter, from Wolverhampton to the West End, the evening includes music and tales of life in the theatre, from composers including Jerry Herman, Noel Coward, Tom Lehrer, Meredith Wilson, Cole Porter and Amanda McBroom. Ben Stock's own career has included roles in major productions such as Beauty & the Beast, Grease, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Joseph, and recent leading regional roles in Hello Dolly and The Glenn Miller Story, as well as an annual jaunt in major pantomimes. Ben is also a regular Music Hall performer and has appeared with the Players Theatre, The Hiss and Boo Theatre Company and The Paper Moon Theatre Company in London and around the country. An acclaimed musical director, Stock plays and arranges his own material. Call for cover/minimum information.

LONDON: OPEN MIC NIGHT AT THE CRAZY COQS 

Harold Sanditen, jazz-cabaret singer and veteran theatre producer, is host of Open Mic Night at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) every Thursday at 10:30 pm, ably supported by regular musicians Michael Roulston on piano and Jonty Fisher on bass. It is always an entertaining evening full of fun and surprise. Aimed at both the jazz and theatrical communities, The Crazy Coqs Open Mic Night welcomes all singers, composers and musicians, up & coming and established, who want to do a turn, performing new material or old favourites. For the audience, come and catch that proverbial 'rising star' (or possibly a famous West End name) in the intimate, "jewel-box" surroundings of The Crazy Coqs. Call for cover/minimum information.

LONDON: FASCINATING AIDA'S DILLIE KEANE IN CABARET

Dillie Keane takes a short break from her Fascinating Aida gal pals to present her first solo show in 557 years at THE PHEASANTRY(152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Tuesday through Sunday, May 26th through 31st at 8:30 pm. With some brand new songs, some grand old favourites, gorgeous songs of love and songs of disgraceful filth, Dillie will break your heart, mend it again and have it sent to the cleaners for pressing. And she'll give you her recipe for chutney while she's at it. Dillie will be accompanied on the piano by the very young but very talented Sam Cable. Call for cover/minimum information.
