Andy & Nathan (Andy Anderson & Nathan Fry) perform at MARTINI'S ABOVE FOURTH (3940 4th Avenue, San Diego, CA - 619-400-4500) every Wednesday from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Wowing San Diego audiences for more than 20 years as a duo, Andy Anderson's sultry and resonant baritone breathes new life into the standard, pop, blues and Broadway songs he performs with his musical partner, the stunningly talented keyboardist Nathan Fry. With his dazzling stage presence and witty asides, Andy is as entertaining as he is musical, while Nathan's virtuosity speaks for itself. No cover show.
LOS ANGELES, CA: SHIRLEE KONG AND CENGIZ YALTKAYA AT THE GARDENIA
Shirlee Kong and Cengiz Yaltkaya will perform at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Wednesday, May 27th at 9:00 pm. Ms. Kong began appearing on TV, film, and theatre as a child performer, and once "served" in a different capacity at The Gardenia, but is presently pursuing her career as a jazz vocalist. She completed a successful "sold-out" tour of French Polynesia, and has twice been voted "Favorite Artist of the Week" by the listeners of SkyJazz Radio in Canada. She returns to her home at The Gardenia with performance-buddy Cengiz Yaltkaya in tow. Call for cover/minimum information.
