Jackie Draper returns to the THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) with her acclaimed show from 2014, "Designing Woman" on Sunday, March 22nd at 7:00 pm. A design implies an orderly plan (or scheme). Contrary to our plans, our lives often take unexpected turns, leading to new directions and designs. Explore such roads and detours with Jackie and her musical team through songs in English, French, and Spanish (dance, too). Musical designers included in Jackie's show: composers/lyricists Aznavour, Bricusse, Coleman/ Zippel, Dearie/Mercer, Joel, Legrand/David, Lerner/Lane, Malneck/Loesser, Mulligan, Porter, Waller/Razaf, Warren/Gordon, and others. Music Director (at the piano) - Gregory Toroian; on bass - Ritt Henn; on woodwinds - Robbyn Tongue; special guest (and dance partner) - Franklin Ayala. Kimberly Vaughn directs. NYC: CABARET JUBILATION CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT

THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) is celebrating MARCH IS CABARET MONTH every Sunday in March (4 Shows, 4 Themes, 4 Casts, 4 Musical Directors, 4 Weeks) at 4:00 pm with CABARET JUBILATION. This Sunday, March 22nd, the show is called "I Feel Good" and features Danny Bacher, Celia Berk, Laurie Krauz, Marissa Mulder and Susan Winter. The show is hosted by Doreen Montalvo with Musical Director by Bill Zeffiro. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MASON AT MAMA'S IN MARCH

Way back in 1982 DON'T TELL MAMA(343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) opened in the Manhattan Theater District on Restaurant Row. Two legendary cabaret stars opened the room - Karen Mason and the late Nancy LaMott. And now, 32 years later, Karon Mason returns for MARCH IS CABARET MONTH with her show MASON at MAMA'S in MARCH! Karen will perform every Sunday and Monday in March at 7:00 pm starting on Sunday & Monday, March 1st 7 2nd. Karen's new show features fresh arrangements of classics, new songs and music she and her longtime composer/ arranger Brian Lasser performed in the early days at Mama's. Musical Director is Christopher Denny and the show is directed by Barry Kleinbort. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

THE NAPOLIAN ROOM AT CLUB CAFE (209 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA - 617-536-0966) presents THERE WE WERE! featuring John O'Neil, Carol O'Shaughnessy & Jan Peters on Friday, March 20th at 8:00 pm and Sunday, March 22nd at 3:00 pm. These three Boston cabaret icons shared a stage 17 years ago, and to celebrate MARCH IS CABARET MONTH they thought it was time they did it again. They've been there; and they're still here! LOS ANGELES: SANDY BAINUM - "IT MIGHT BE FUN"

Sandy Bainum presents "It Might Be Fun" at STERLING'S AT THE FEDERAL (5303 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA - 818-754-8700) on Sunday, March 22nd at 7:00 pm. "It Might Be Fun" is a new and exciting departure for Sandy ... an all new concert act based on her latest CD album of all original songs. Sandy takes you on a journey that runs the gamut of emotion. The final song on the album, "Two Roads," is a brand new song receiving its premiere recording, written by Bruce Kimmel with two-time Academy Award winning Richard M. Sherman. The album was recorded in Los Angeles at the historic Capitol Studios Studio A with a phenomenal 35-piece orchestra. It was arranged, orchestrated and conducted by award-winning musical director Lanny Meyers and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Bruce Kimmel. There is a $20 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
