NYC: VICKIE PHILLIPS - TO LIFE AND RAINBOWS - A LOVING MEMORIAL TRIBUTE TO SON KIRK

2014 Bistro Award Winning Vickie Phillips Returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Thursday, March 19th at 7:30 pm with her show "To Life And Rainbows - A Loving Memorial Tribute to Son Kirk". According to Vickie Phillips, music is what feelings feel like. No greater feelings can be expressed than keeping the promise Vickie made to her son 13 years ago, two days before his soul took flight. Pancreatic Cancer that metastasized to his liver, cutting his life short a year and 3 months later. "I promise I will not stop performing when you are no longer in this world, Kirk". So now, to honor Kirk's memory, Vickie has joined forces with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center for this March 19th Benefit. In this special show, most songs have been written by "friends" - actual friends like Sheldon Harnick and Gerry Dieffenbach, her musical director; others who have become like friends because of their music like Lieber and Stoller, Peter Allen, Craig Carnelia, Cryer and Ford, Maltby and Shire, Eric Blau, and Aznavour ... as she makes each song she sings her personal friend. There is no cover charge - just place a cash donation (or check made out to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center) in an envelope which will be collected at the show. There is a 2-drink minimum.

Seth's weekly interview show always features stars, soon-to-be stars and folks behind the scenes of the musical theater stage - for just a $10 cover - 2-drink minimum. NYC: XAVIER "MAMMA" RICE: UNPLUGGED/UNHINGED

Xavier "Mamma" Rice is back at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, March 19th at 7:00 pm after a long winter's nap. A consummate storyteller, comedian and singer, Mamma Rice is back with a smaller, sweeter acoustic set featuring Ben Levy of (Lesser Ghost) and a few of his talented friends. After a LONG winters nap, a phone call from Mamma's Mamma is the send off this 45min rambling on faith, friendship, race, revolution and Xtube. A primarily acoustic set, featuring the music of Justin Timberlake, Rufus Wainwright, Jamie Cullum, Fiona Apple and more. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: SEX, LIES & EARL GREY WITH DEBORAH BERENSON

Georgina Grace/'G' (Deborah Berenson) presents 'Sex, Lies & Earl Grey' at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Thursday, March 19th at 9:30 pm. The show is a lesson in old fashioned British etiquette: featuring tea, cakes and cabaret. Audiences will learn the value of a good first impression and a stiff upper lip. Satisfaction guaranteed. (Grievances and complaints will be politely ignored.) Following its premiere at the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival, Sex, Lies & Earl Grey was selected for the official Fringe Encores series. Written and performed by Deborah Berenson, it follows the sold-out London run of her debut show, Baggage - an uncomfortable autobiography. Berenson will have you, laughing, crying and singing along with her in this fun-filled show. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Every Thursday night, as the curtains fall on Broadway, Host Ben Cameron (from Broadway's Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and his crew of amazingly talented folks welcome a new Broadway star to perform at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) at 10:30 pm in this fun and zany musical theater variety show. NYC: SULTRY SONGBIRDS: AN ALL-GINGER ST. PATTY'S DAY

An All-Redhead Cast of Singing Sirens celebrate St Patty's Day at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, March 19th at 9:30 pm. The cast, hosted by Shelly "The Singing Siren" Watson includes Rosie151, Melody Jane, Francine the Lucid Dream. Shelly Watson is an award winning graduate of the Juilliard school who received a BM and MM in opera. She's performed with NYCO and The Met Opera and hosts Company XIV's productions. She is the founder and director of the NYC Burlesque Choir and has a private practice for students as well. The hot and intoxicating Rosie 151 has a BFA in theatre and has been a regular on the NYC burlesque scene for over seven years. Three years ago, she began singing sultry burlesque-inspired tunes with hot jazz band The Red Hook Ramblers and loves incorporating burlesque into her singing. She was a resident performer in The Floating Kabarette at Galapagos Art Space, The Rum House and The Jazz Room at the General. Melody Jane is a New York City-based songbird, artist, and burlesque performer born down in the West Texas town of El Paso. She studied musical theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The New School University. In 2014, she played the part of Beauty in the well-received revival of the 1924 Marx Bros. original musical I'll Say She Is. She is currently co-producing the weekly show Church of Titillation with Jonny Porkpie. Francine "The Lucid Dream" studied singing at Ithaca College, The Singers Forum as well as with Company XIV's Shelly Watson. During her time in New York City she has shared her vocal talents in various shows including Speakeasy Dollhouse, I'll Say She Is and The Pink Room Burlesque. Francine always loves singing a good tune on its own but her specialty is as the ecdysiast chanteuse, bringing pleasure to both the eyes and the ears. Nina La Voix's style blends the classic structures of burlesque with a modern/neo twist. She has been seen in multiple burlesque festivals, including The New Orleans Burlesque Festival, Fierce! International Burlesque Festival, and The Great Burlesque Exposition in Boston, where she took home the title for Best Soloist. She is a co-producer and host of one of the longest weekly burlesque shows in NYC, Shaken and Stirred. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. Two covers for $30!

The Broadway legend returns with his acclaimed show 'Steppin' Out', including new songs! A Tony and Drama Desk Award winner for his renowned performance in Bob Fosse's Pippin, Mr. Vereen's Broadway credits include: Wicked, I'm Not Rappaport, Chicago, Hair, Fosse, Jelly's Last Jam, Jesus Christ Superstar, and A Christmas Carol. In 2010, Ben completed a successful run in the world premiere of Fetch Clay, Make Man, directed by Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys) at the McCarter Theatre.
