MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY continues at ST. PETER'S CHURCH - SANCTUARY (619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200) every Wednesday. Midday Jazz Midtown is an ongoing jazz program for the midtown community. Concerts take place in the Sanctuary of Saint Peter's Church and are presented by Midtown Arts Common in cooperation with Saint Peter's Church. Ronny Whyte is the producer. The show on Wednesday, August 6th features John Eckert's New York Jazz Nine. With: Bobby Porcelli, alto sax; Terry Goss, baritone sax; Jason Jackson, trombone; Noah Bless, trombone; Dave Smith, trumpet; John Eckert, trumpet; Tim Harrison, piano; Yasushi Nakamura, bass; and Jeff Brillinger, drums.
