TORONTO: MARK McLEAN AT JAZZ BISTRO
Exciting, New York City based drummer/ composer/ arranger Mark McLean will perform with his "Playground" ensemble at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) through Saturday, May 17th with sets at 7:00 & 9:00 pm. The ensemble features Kelly Jefferson on sax, Ted Quinlan on guitar, Xavier Davis on piano and Fender Rhodes and Marc Rogers on acoustic and electric bass. Also, Mark will be welcoming three special guests: Wade O. Brown on May 9th; Denzal Sinclair on May 1th0 and Lester McLean on May 11th. Mark and his group will be performing material from his recent well-received CD, Playground. The Music Charge will be $20.
