Jazz at the Atlas series at the ATLAS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (1333 H Street NE, Washington, DC - 202-399-7993) presents Darcy James Aruge Secret Society on Saturday, May 18th at 8:00 pm. One of today's most talked-about jazz musicians Darcy James Argue, returns to the Atlas with Brooklyn Babylon, the highly anticipated sophomore album from him and his innovative 18-piece big band Secret Society. Conceived with Croatian-born visual artist Danijel Zezelj, the album is a mash-up of progressive jazz, Balkan folk music, and the sounds of Brooklyn's diverse contemporary music scene.
