NYC: TONIGHT- SINGER-SONGWRITER HELEN MILAN IN "LANGUAGES OF LOVE"
International beauty Helen Milan premieres a brand new show, "Languages of Love," at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Wednesday, May 1st at 9:30 pm in a special one-night only engagement. Milan performs pop and traditional standards from around the world as well as a number of original songs, also in multiple languages. This is Milan's Metropolitan Room debut. Making a special appearance is Michelle Milan, Helen's 12-year-old daughter, who also is a pursuing a singing career in New York. The cosmopolitan mother-daughter duo will perform songs in French, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, and English. A native of the ancient city of Lvov, Ukraine, Helen Milan has lived in the Ukraine, Poland, Greece, France and America. "Languages of Love" commemorates the release of Helen's first American CD, which features Michelle on two songs. In addition to multiple languages the album mixes multiple styles - from rock, pop, soul, blues-jazz and even deep house. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
