NYC: PETER VALERA AND THE JUMP BLUES BAND AT THE IRIDIUM
ScoBar Entertainment presents Peter Valera and the Jump Blues Band featuring Sweet Georgia Brown at IRIDIUM JAZZ CLUB (1650 Broadway, NYC - 212-582-2121) on Tuesday, April 9th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Peter Valera "jumps the blues" all night long. He plays the saxophone from his heart and soul. Peter gives his all for performances that are unforgettable and just released his first record "Jump Blues" (Four Most Records and Entertainment). As a composer, bandleader, and educator; his unique style is a synthesis of the swingin' sounds of early jazz and the soulful grooves of rhythm and blues. Band members include Sweet Georgia Brown on vocals, Nathan Lucas on organ, Michael Howell on guitar, Matt Baranello on drums. There is a $30 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
