NYC: COOKIE'S CORNER PREMIERES AT THE LAURIE BEECHMAN
"Cookie's Corner" premieres at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Sunday, January 27th at 3:00 pm. The show is an ongoing party celebrating life and new talent hosted by Cookie Stark. Special guest star for the show is 2012 Julie Wilson Award Winner, Shana Farr. Shana has just released her debut CD "Out Of The Shadows." Others appearing in the show are actress/singer/songwriter Jodi Beck; singer/actor Chris J. Handley; vocalist Eva Kantor; and Broadway veteren Lynn Kearney. The show is directed by Eric Michael Gillett, with musical direction by Jeff Cubeta. At 80 years young, Cookie has just entered the business called "show." She is today's hostess with the mostest! Some people spend a lifetime singing ... others wait a lifetime to sing. The latter applies to Cookie, and now she's going at it full throttle! This special variety series will appear every other month with the next performance scheduled for Sunday, March 24 at 3pm.
