NYC: STIX BONES HOSTS JAZZ NIGHT AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
On Friday, December 15th at 11:00 pm, Stix Bones hosts Jazz Late Night at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with a spectacular performance that takes you on a musical journey from Swing to Smooth Jazz. The show showcases the musical prowess of Jazz Artist/Drummer Stix Bones. Hailing from the borough of Brooklyn, Stix received his Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance from Purchase College, State University of New York. It was there he was given the name BONES because to his band mates he showed himself to be a Brother of Noble Excellence. Stix independently released his first full-length Smooth Jazz album entitled "Groove Like This". The album has graced the airwaves of more than 40 jazz radio stations in the US, Jazz internet and satellite stations across the globe. It has charted in the top 10 on the digital jazz charts and made it to the top 20 jazz charts in France. Stix Bones whose musical influences are a mix of Hip Hop and Jazz has built a respectable name amongst Jazz & Hip Hop artist and is credited as truly a Brother of Noble Excellence. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
