NYC: BROADWAY KIDS REALITY AT STAGE 72 - PERFORMANCE & Q&A STARTS 11:00 AM
Think your kids might be interested in a "show-biz" career? Johnny Rabe (Ralphie), star of "A Christmas Story The Musical," along with Luke Spring, the tap dancing whiz kid, Grace Capeless and Sarah Min-King Park will perform and then hold a Q&A session on Saturday, December 15th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at STAGE 72 (formerly THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2590). This talented group of kids will show off their stuff - singing, dancing and more, then answer questions in a Q & A moderated by Peter Filichia theatre critic, writer and host of the Theatre World Awards. Special guest is 16 year old Nick Ziobro, winner of the 2012 Michael Feinstein Songbook Initiative competition, who will bring a different perspective talking about his love of the Great American Songbook and its music, what it took and will take to attain his visions for the future as a cabaret star and recording artist. He currently serves as Youth Ambassador of the Great American Songbook. Chris Ranney is Musical Director. The event is presented by Pat Addiss (producer A Christmas Story the Musical) and Sandi Durell. There is a $25 cover, which includes snack, beverage and a gift.
