BOS: JAN PETERS' ENCORE CABARET GUEST ARTIST SERIES CONTINUES
ENCORE LOUNGE at THE COURTYARD MARRIOT (275 Tremont Street, Boston, MA - 617-728-2162) continues it's Cabaret Guest Artist Series this Friday, December 14th with the vocal trio Rhythm & Pearls, hosted by Jan Peters. The group has been delighting Boston area audiences with their current show, "Salute to the Girl Groups". This show features iconic songs from The Andrews Sisters, The McGuire Sisters, The Supremes, and other great women past and present. Telling the story of the girl groups through the decades, it's a fun, high-energy act filled with memorable songs, classic harmonies, and some sassy dance moves. The three vocalists of Rhythm and Pearls, Allison Donelan, Barbara Lietzke, and Sara Weiss, live in Newton, MA. They started singing together unofficially about eight years ago, and discovered that they could blend despite their very different voices, and that they loved singing harmony together. Tom LaMark and Jan Peters also host an open mic format throughout the evening with no cover charge.
