FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT
Showstoppers! The Music of Marvin Hamlisch, A benefit for the Actors' Equity Scholarship Program will be sponsored by THE SINGERS FORUM(http://singersforum.org/ ) at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Monday night, October 8th at 7:00 pm. Hosted by Eric Michael Gillett and Valerie Lemon (who toured as a soloist with Mr. Hamlisch for several years) the show also features Tony Award Winner Cady Huffman, Broadway's Nina Hennessey and performances by several AEA scholarship students and teachers. The Singers Forum is a Manhattan-based non-profit organization dedicated to the vocal arts that will provide scholarships to 12 Equity Members to take thirteen weekly, private 45-minute voice lessons, including a pianist, for a significantly reduced per class fee. $50 VIP Seating/$25 General Admission plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
