NYC: DARYL SHERMAN MAKES KITANO DEBUT
Jazz vocalist/pianist Daryl Sherman will perform at THE KITANO HOTEL'S GARDEN CAFE (66 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-885-7119 - ) on Wednesday, October 10th, with sets at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. She will be joined by Harvie S on bass and Scott Robinson on reeds. This will be Ms. Sherman's Kitano debut. A sparkling mainstay of Manhattan nightlife, singer/pianist Daryl Sherman is internationally acclaimed for a stellar 14-year run at the Waldorf-Astoria where she played Cole Porter's Steinway. She headlined two years in a row at he annual Cole Porter Birthday Festival in is native Peru, IN. Equally at home in the world of jazz and cabaret Sherman has been lauded for appearances at Feinstein's, The Algonquin's Oak Room, Dizzy's Coca Cola and Rose Hall with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. Sherman's many recordings are in regular national rotation on Cable TV's Music Choice and Sirius/XM Radio. There is a $10 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
