CHI: FOILED AGAIN PRESENT 3SOME: A MUSICAL SALUTE TO MUSICAL TRIOS
Chicago cabaret mainstays Foiled Again return toDAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) in October with a brand-new show, 3some. Performances are scheduled for Friday & Saturday, October 5th & 6th; Saturday, October 13th; and Friday, October 26th. All shows are at 8:00 pm. 3some promises to be a fun and eclectic evening of music from one of Chicago's favorite vocal ensembles Foiled Again; a musical love-letter from one trio to many others. The evening will include musical tributes to such famous trios as: Crosby, Stills, and Nash; Nickel Creek; Lambert, Hendricks, and Ross; Peter, Paul, and Mary; The Supremes, Wilson Phillips, The Dixie Chicks, and many many more. Foiled Again features: Allison Bazarko - singer-songwriter and the group's resident vocal arranger; Rob Lindley - Jeff-Award winning actor for Writers' Theatre's Oh Coward and recently starred in Court Theatre's Angels in America; Anne Sheridan Smith - off-loop theatre actress who recently appeared in Porchlight's A Catered Affair and is currently appearing in Pool No Water. Their musical director is the multi-Jeff award winning Doug Peck. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.v
