URGENT MESSAGE FROM CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE

As you have noted from the past few CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE newsletters, the city of New York has ordered that we vacate our basement apartment in Jackson Heights by the end of August because they have deemed it unsafe (only one exit). A tragic fire in a basement apartment in Queens a few months ago brought about a re-inspection of all such dwellings over the past few months - and now we need to find new housing immediately. This comes at a time when our income from advertising sales is always at it's lowest (which is why we have always scheduled membership renewals in July and August). And at a time when our bank account is at its lowest as well.

I need to raise at least $2000 in the next two weeks to cover deposit/security on a new space - and more if we cannot find a furnished apartment. Right now we have less than $400 on hand. So your membership donation (new or renewal) this weekend will truly be appreciated.
