NYC: NO NAME PRESENTS THE UPTOWN CABARET SPOTLIGHT! (NEW)
Host Alexandra de Suze and Musical Director Marilynn Seits host a monthly evening of cabaret at INDIAN ROAD CAFE (600 West 218th Street, NYC - 212-942-7451 - ) with a featured guest artist. Held the third thursday of every month. On Thursday, August 16th at 7:00 pm, No Name Presents: The Uptown Cabaret Spotlight, will be featuring featuring composer Drew Fornarola. Drew was part of Prospect Theatre's Museum Pieces a few years back. Since then, he has contributed to Prospect's Fools For Love concert this year, participated in NYMF alumni events and his NYMF show College The Musical is being performed regionally. Indian Road Cafe offers an excellent wine and beer and coffee!-selection as well as great food from paninis to lobster mac and cheese all amidst a warm and casual atmosphere. Check out their "punch of the week" along with other fab cocktails! They also are home to a monthly singer/songwriter open mic, comedy shows and classical performances by Opera On Tap.
