NYC: ERIC COMSTOCK / BARBARA FASANO QUARTET AT KITANO
Barbara Fasano and Eric Comstock will help you start your holiday weekend on Friday, May 25th at THE KITANO HOTEL'S GARDEN CAFE(66 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-885-7119 - ) with sets at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. They are joined by Arco Panascia on Bass and Vito Lesczak on Drums. Comstock and Fasano are much sought-after mainstays of the Manhattan cabaret scene, both independently and together. (They were married in 2005.) They have performed at Danny's, the Duplex, Town Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center. An exceptionally lovely and sophisticated singer, Fasano mixes standards of the American Popular Song with more contemporary material. Her new album, "Written In The Stars," a tribute to Harold Arlen, has been awarded the 2007 Back Stage Bistro Award for Outstanding Recording. Call for cover/minimum information.
