2012 MAC AWARD WINNER (Best Male Vocalist) Craig Pomranz, a fixture on the international nightclub scene, will be returning to THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Friday & Saturday, April 20th & 21st at 9:00 pm. With a vocal quality reminiscent of heart-melting tenors like Johnny Mathis, Chet Baker and Jimmy Scott, Craig has been described as one of the dreamiest voices in the music industry. Craig has distinguished himself consistently in his live shows by performing music from the Great American Songbook that is not over-recorded, contemporary pop, as well as more unusual songs he has collected from songwriters through the years. Pomranz crafts shows that feel freshly minted each night, like a nightclub act at the Copa from the golden days, and audiences can expect witty banter with his music director Stephen Bocchino, fast-paced entertainment, and moments of deeply moving beauty.
