NYC: STEARNS MATTHEWS REPRISES "THIS WILL BE..."
Stearns Matthews will present his latest solo cabaret show, "this will be ..." at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturday, April 9th at 4:30 pm. The show features direction by 2010 MAC Award winner Lennie Watts and musical direction by multiple award winner Steven Ray Watkins. The show features songs of Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson, Marvin Hamlisch/Carol Bayer Sager, Burt Bacharach, "Mama" Cass Elliot, Amanda Green, and Sesame Street. Stearns was a 2009 MAC Award nominee for his solo show, "I Was Here". He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College. In 2009, he presented a critically acclaimed duet show, "50 Years Experience ... 25 Years in the Making." with long-time friend and collaborator Megan Candio. Call for cover/minimum information.
