NYC: BEN D. CAMERON GOES SOLO WITH SONGS OF PHIL PUTNAM
Broadway performer and personality Ben D Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) presents his first solo concert performance in over 2 years on Saturday, October 15th at 9:00 pm at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438). Presenting a full evening of songs by composer/lyricist Phil Putnam, the show moves Cameron from his renowned spot as live host and marks him center stage with songs to sing of daddy issues, love, sex, and fabulous geek-tastic self-deprecation. Best known as the creator and host of "Broadway Sessions with Ben D" Cameron is a celebrated host, performer, and original Broadway cast member of Wicked and Aida. Currently in its third year, Broadway Sessions with Ben D is a live weekly showcase of established and rising Broadway talent, and an official fundraising event for BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS. Phil Putnam is a prolific singer/songwriter and recording artist with a style akin to Elton John and Duncan Sheik. In addition to his live performances, Putnam is currently producing his 9th album of original songs, and is developing a new musical for Little White Bird Productions with collaborators Alan Winner and Drew Rosene. His music and videos can be enjoyed at http://www.philputnam.com. Call for cover/minimum information.
