CHI: JOANIE PALLATTO NEW CABARET SERIES IN CHICAGO
FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT
Ralph Lampkin, Jr. and Lampkin Music Group are excited to bring cabaret to the newly renovated STAGE 773 CABARET ROOM(1225 West Belmont Street, Chicago, IL - 773-327-5252) in a series of Saturday night concerts, concluding with a New Year's Eve performance featuring Chicago favorite Hollis Resnik with musical director Doug Peck. The series continues on Saturday, October 15th at 8:00 pm, featuring jazz singer/songwriter, Joanie Pallatto ("Who Wrote This Song?") Joanie will perform an evening of her original songs accompanied by jazz musicians Dave Gordon, Eric Hochberg and her husband and writing partner, Bradley Parker Sparrow. Over the last 25 years, Joanie has appeared at some of the best venues in the Midwest, they include: Andy's, Katerina's,The Chicago Jazz Festival, Chicago Cultural Center, The Old Town School of Folk Music, Park West, and Bailiwick Theater; she was also a featured soloist with Daniel Barenboim in "Ellington Among Friends" at Symphony Center in 1999. Portions of ticket sales will be donated to three non-profit - the Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame, Pride Films and Plays , and Season of Concern . There is an $18 cover.
