A MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT
FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095) presents "I Want To Live!" - an evening with Nellie McKay, Tuesdays through Saturdays, March 22nd through April 2nd. Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 8:30 pm and on Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 & 10:30 pm. The early shows will offer her eclectic mix of standards and original material and the late shows on Fridays and Saturdays will exclusively feature McKay's own distinctive compositions. McKay, who performs on piano and ukulele as well as vocals, will be joined by a trio of musicians. McKay has been a creative dynamo since her audacious double-album debut Get Away From Me, releasing five critically acclaimed albums, including 2009's Normal As Blueberry Pie: A Tribute to Doris Day and her recent CD, Home Sweet Mobile Home. All shows have a $60-$75 cover with a $40 food/drink minimum.
