A MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT
In the fall of 2009, Central Los Angeles High School (aka #9) opened its doors to a group of talented kids intent on pursuing their dreams at it's new VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS HIGH SCHOOL. Now Seniors, they are about to complete the most rigorous education program in the entire city. As they prepare for their future, the only thing these kids lack is funding. So, on Sunday, March 20th at 2:00 pm at CENTRAL LOS ANGELES HIGH SCHOOL #9 (450 North Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA) they will perform in a benefit conference. All proceeds will benefit graduation activities for the real CLASS of 2011. The show will feature Brad Ellis, long regarded as one of the most respected and sought after composers, arrangers, and musical directors in the Broadway community, currently enjoying a newfound fame as the on-camera pianist on the hit television series Glee. He is joined by Nate Light on Bass and Denise Fraser on Drums. The show is produced by Clifford Bell and Dianne Fraser. Tickets are $25 and available at http://central-lausd-ca.schoolloop.com/ .
