NYC: SUMMER IN THE CITY WITH "BROADWAY, OUR WAY!"
Lennie Watts and Lina Koutrakos' SUMMER IN THE CITY cabaret workshop presents a Saturday Night Performance "Broadway, Our Way!" on Saturday, July 17th at 8:00 pm atDON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - ), featuring showtunes rearranged, rethought and re-imagined. The show will feature performances by Lennie Watts, Lina Koutrakos, Baby Jane Dexter, Lisa Asher, Jim Speake, Susan Winter, Lorinda Lisitza, Sidney Myer, Georga Osborne and Mary Foster Conklin. Musical Director is Steven Ray Watkins. Many of the performers have been guest teachers over the past decade with Lennie and Lina in SUMMER IN THE CITY, Manhattan's only intensive cabaret performance workshop and some are vocalists who have taken the workshop in the past. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
