NYC: MERYL ROMER AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Jazz vocalist Meryl Romer will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, April 18th at 7:00 pm. Meryl made her debut as a solo artist with her album So Sure released by Lady Pearl Music in April 2009. Since its release, Romer has been playing shows throughout her home state of Colorado and returning periodically to her birth place of New York City steadily building a broad fan base. Romer's music includes nostalgic jazz motifs resembling the classic creases of Ella Fitzgerald and the satiny pitch of Doris Day. Meryl's music collaborators for are Erik Deutsch, piano; Jonti Siman, bass; and Marc Dalio, drums. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
