LONDON: AMANDA MCBROOM AT THE CRAZY COQS

One of our most popular and well-loved artists, Amanda McBroom, returns to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, April 21st through 25th at 8:00 pm with her new show NOIR - SONGS OF LOVE. The show promises to be a magical blend of personal anecdotes, humour and songs by highly acclaimed songwriters including Johnny Mercer (That Old Black Magic), Harold Arlen, Tom Waits (Blue Valentine) and Jacques Brel, as well as some of her own well-known, self-penned numbers, including "The Rose", which was an international hit for Bette Middler. McBroom's talent for witty, profound and emotionally charged songwriting sets her apart from her from her comtemporaries and makes this a residency not to be missed! LONDON: SWING DANCE WITH THE BASIN STREET BRAWLERS

Part of the regular Friday Night is Swing Night Series at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888), on Friday, April 24th at 10:30 pm Pete Horsfall's Basin Street Brawlers take the stage. They are London's own master exponents of hot jazz, swingin' their way through the most beautiful melodies and raucous rags of the 1920s and 1930s. Their repertoire features the finest work of the master songwriters of the era, including Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael and George Gershwin, delivered in a unique style reminiscent of the Louis Armstrong All Stars and the great Harlem stride piano-man Thomas "Fats" Waller. LONDON: GOOSEBUMPS AT THE PHEASANTRY

Mark Churchward (Lead Vocals and trumpet), Nick Browne (Saxophone and backing vocals), Nick Harrington (Drums and backing vocals), Chris Cassar (Bass and backing vocals), Ben Green (Guitar and backing vocals) make up THE GOOSEBUMPS, and they will perform at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Friday, April 24th at 8:30 pm. The Goosebumps are one of the hottest Swing Jive and Jump Blues bands in the UK. Their high-energy Swing-Jive-Blues music has seen them labeled "The Jumpingist Jivers in town".
