NYC: MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY: BASSIST SEAN SMITH & PIANIST DAVID HAZELTINE
MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY continues at ST. PETER'S CHURCH - SANCTUARY (619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200) every Wednesday. Midday Jazz Midtown is an ongoing jazz program for the midtown community. Concerts take place in the Sanctuary of Saint Peter's Church and are presented by Midtown Arts Common in cooperation with Saint Peter's Church. Ronny Whyte is the producer. The show on Wednesday, January 14th features bassist Sean Smith and pianist David Hazeltines. Bassist Sean Smith has been an integral part of the international jazz scene for more than twenty years. He has performed with Gerry Mulligan, Phil Woods, Benny Carter, Peggy Lee, Clark Terry, and many others.
