NYC: NANCY WITTER'S KILLER COMEDY SHOW RETURNS

4-time MAC Award winning comic Nancy Witter is back at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday night, January 16th at 7:00 pm with her comedy show called 'Nancy Witter's Killer Comedy Show!' She will be presenting a cast of talented funny comedians for a fun show. There's new talent, growing talent, and some old pros. NYC: CHAMPAGNE PAM - NEW YORK STATE OF MIND: THE SONGS OF BILLY JOEL
Pamela Lewis' (a.k.a .Champagne Pam) is back at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Friday, January 16th at 7:00 pm with her new show NEW YORK STATE OF MIND: THE SONGS OF BILLY JOEL, Pamela Lewis' interpretation of what she describes as "The soundtrack of her life" - selections from the iconic Billy Joel repertoire. Lewis' show is directed by well-known British cabaret star Barb Jungr (renowned for her unique vocal style, interpretation of song and radical approach to arrangements). With Musical Director Bill Heller on piano, Lewis' husband John Hurley on guitar, bass player Ritt Henn, and Marcus Parsley on trumpet, Pamela transforms the classic songs of Billy Joel into a sound all her own.There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: STACY SULLIVAN'S ON THE AIR – SONGS FOR MARIAN MCPARTLAND

Acclaimed vocalist Stacy Sullivan, winner of the Nightlife, Bistro, and MAC Award for Outstanding Female New York Debut, pays tribute to Marian McPartland in her show 'ON THE AIR – Songs for Marian McPartland' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Friday, January 16th at 9:30 pm. Legendary jazz pianist Marian McPartland (1918-2013) left a body of work as a performer and composer rivaled only by her advocacy of the art form. As host of "Piano Jazz," she led the longest running cultural program in the history of National Public Radio, interviewing and performing with the giants of 20th century jazz. Stacy weaves storytelling and performances of some of the most beloved works from the American Songbook into a fascinating portrait of an Englishwoman who became an American jazz tastemaker. Featuring music of Duke Ellington, Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim, Willie Nelson, and, of course, Marian herself. She is joined by Jon Weber (current host of "Piano Jazz") at the Piano, Steve Doyle on Bass. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: SONDHEIM ORIGINALS AT 54 BELOW

Broadway's original Mary Flynn in Merrily We Roll Along, Ann Morrison, Broadway's original Marta in Company, Pamela Myers, and Broadway's original Baker in Into the Woods, Chip Zien, recall songs and stories recounting their experiences creating their roles in these three landmark Sondheim musicals in their show "Sondheim Originals" at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday & Saturday, January 16th & 17th at 7:00 pm. Fun and laughter abound as these three 'old friends' gather together for a remarkable evening with Sondheim Originals. Originally presented at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center under the direction of Grammy and Emmy Award winner, John McDaniel, the show features music direction by Mark Hartman. There is a $35-$80 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: DONNA VIVINO RETURNS TO 54 BELOW

After her sold out show at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) last year, Donna Vivino returns on Friday, January 16th at 9:30 pm for another witty evening of songs and stories as she shares the stage with former co-stars and cast mates from Wicked, Submissions Only, Hairspray, Les Miserables and many more. Broadway fell in love with Donna in 1987 when she created the role of Young Cosette in the original Broadway production of Les Miserables. Since then, she's danced through the 70's (Saturday Night Fever), sung with the nicest kids in town (Hairspray), laughed it up with Martin Short (Fame Becomes Me), & defied gravity as one of Wicked's most beloved Elphaba. One night only. There is a $35-$65 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: HAPPY KARAOKE FUN TIME AT 54 BELOW

Happy Karaoke Fun Time moves to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday, January 16th at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series. Following performances at The Davenport Theatre off-Broadway, Second City, The Annoyance Theatre, and at festivals across the country, the hit musically improvised show comes to 54 Below with a one-night-only all Broadway themed night. Happy Karaoke Fun Time! is a show where improv and karaoke come together to create a world in which scenes explode into popular songs you'll recognize (but lyrics you won't) ... made up entirely on the spot. In this special Broadway and cabaret themed edition, hear Broadway songs re-invented with improvised lyrics, from "All That Jazz" to "The Lion King," as part of the opening and closing night of a brand new improvised musical - titled by YOU, the audience. Featuring NYC's top musical improvisers from Upright Citizens Brigade, The People's Improv Theatre, The Magnet, The Annoyance Theatre and more. NYC: CHEYENNE JACKSON "EYES WIDE OPEN" AT THE CAFE CARLYLE

THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) presents film/ TV /Broadway star Cheyenne Jackson with his show "Eyes Wide Open" on Tuesdays through Saturdays, January 13th through 24th at 8:45 pm with an additional late show added on Saturdays at 10:45 pm. Jackson take an honest and entertaining look at the past two years of his life - a period that Jackson describes as a journey of "loss, love, revelation and recovery." There is a $45-$125 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
