LONDON: THE GIRLS FROM OZ AT THE CRAZY COQS

Following their sell-out Easter Extravaganza last April, The Girls From Oz, (and their Pommy Pianist), are making their THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) debut with their sparkly new show THE GIRLS FROM OZ AUSTRALIA DAY SHOW. This Australia Day, they'll be putting their unique vintage spin on hits from musicals and jazz standards, and with their cheeky Aussie banter, the girls will also pay tribute to Aussie legends, Kylie, Slim Dusty and Vegemite! Although the girls have been making fabulous music together for only a year, they've been friends for much longer... and always will be, as they know one and other's naughty little secrets! The Girls From Oz are Miss Kara Lane (Creator/Director), Miss Simone Craddock and Miss Julie Yammanee. They are led by award-winning, Musical Supervisor/Conductor and Cabaret Artist, Mr Simon Beck, at the piano. The Girls have each enjoyed dazzling careers in Musicals and Jazz clubs, both internationally and in London's West End. Between them they have played leading roles such as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show, Grace Farrell in Annie, Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly!, Christmas Eve in Avenue Q and Nancy in Oliver! to name a few! One of the great British West End leads, Jacqui Scott meets one of Britain's greatest pianists Harry the Piano at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Monday, January 26th at 8:30 pm.
