With the internationally acclaimed songs of Jacques Brel, Kurt Weill, and Charles Aznavour, Vickie creates miniature portraits of the wonderful life we all share. Through the words and music of these masters, Vickie tells us of the journey she is still on, and her deepest personal dreams. NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW

Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. NYC: DARYL SHERMAN AT PEACOCK ALLEY AT THE WALDORF

Daryl Sherman will perform solo piano at THE PEACOCK ALLEY RESTAURANT at THE WALDORF-ASTORIA HOTEL (301 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-872-1275) on Wednesdays in August from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The bar & lounge serves exclusive wines and martinis with nightly entertainment by the Cole Porter piano. For 14 years Ms. Sherman played and sang for savvy New Yorkers and international visitors at the Waldorf Astoria's famed Cole Porter Steinway. She has headlined the annual Cole Porter Festival in his hometown of Peru, IN. Sherman has performed at The Algonquin's Oak Room, Feinstein's, Rose Hall with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Dizzy's Coca Cola and 59E59 Theaters. As a sparkling mainstay of Manhattan's nightlife, there's hardly jazz joint, supper club, Chinese restaurant or hotel that Daryl has missed. Her many recordings are in regular national rotation on Cable TV's Music Choice and Sirius/XM Radio. She was presented the 2010 MAC Award "Best Major Recording" for her Johnny Mercer Centennial CD - which was used in a Mercer documentary produced by Clint Eastwood.

Comedy legend Joan Rivers returns with her her live stand-up act to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Wednesday, August 27th at 8:00 pm. Rivers presents an evening of her newest and most outrageous riffs on Hollywood, pop culture, celebrities, reality TV and award show fashions. Rivers delivers a raunchy, politically incorrect evening of stand-up comedy. A full dinner menu and bar are available, and pianist Will Hall plays from the time doors open until Joan takes the stage. After a 54 Below debut in January, Patrick Page, recently of Casa Valentina, And Broadway's Leading Bad Guy, returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Wednesday, August 27th at 9:30 pm for an encore performance. Specializing in spectacular characters From The Dark Side, The Green Goblin in Spider-Man:Turn Off the Dark, Scar in The Lion King, The Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rufus Buckley in A Time to Kill, Henry VIII in A Man for All Seasons - Patrick Page explores theatrical villainy from Captain Hook to Sweeney Todd. An evening full of laughs (diabolical and otherwise), songs, insights, and surprises! Direction by Stuart Moulton. There is a $30-$40 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: PARTY MONSTER THE MUSICAL AT 54 BELOW HOSTED BY LEO GUGU

Party Monster The Musical will be performed at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Wednesday, August 27th at 9:30 pm. This one night only presentation, hosted by downtown superstar Leo Gugu will premiere selected songs from Party Monster The Musical. The new EDM musical is based on the memoir Disco Bloodbath: A Fabulous but True Tale of Murder in Clubland by James St James, later renamed Party Monster. This 1999 memoir was nominated for the Edgar Award for best true-crime book of the year, and chronicles St. James' life as a Manhattan celebutante and club kid. An all-original score is composed by Brian Morey (I am Hamlet) with lyrics by Matthew Neff (NYMF's Petrouchka). Blurring the lines between a traditional musical and a rock concert, the show examines two close friends, a group of followers and the consequences of self-indulgence. Starring: Julius Thomas III (Motown, The Gerswin's Porgy and Bess, The Scottsboro Boys), Tracy McDowell (Motown, Rent), Eddie Cooper (Cinemax's Banshee), Patrick Elliott (D.C. premiere of Altar Boyz), Tina Jensen (of the girl group The Glamazons), Nathaly Lopez (NYTW's What's It All About) and Laura Beth Wells (Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark).
