MIDTOWN JAZZ AT MIDDAY continues at ST. PETER'S CHURCH - SANCTUARY(619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200 ) every Wednesday. This long-running series was created by Edmund Anderson and is now produced by Ronny Whyte. The show on Wednesday, July 2nd features Stephanie Nakasian, vocals, with Hod O'Brien on piano and Veronica Swift O'Brien, additional vocals. Stephanie Nakasian is an American jazz vocalist and voice teacher. Born in Washington, D.C., Stephanie grew up in Bronxville, NY. She studied classical piano and violin, sang in choirs, and studied voice. She majored in economics at Northwestern University, where she received her BA and MBA. She subsequently worked as a financial consultant to major banks in New York and Chicago until 1981, when she began working as a musician full-time. Performances are at 1:00 pm, $10 donation.
