NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW

Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge.

NYC: EMILY BINDIGER AND ROBBIE KONDOR TOGETHER AT LAST

Acclaimed stage and studio stalwarts Emily Bindiger and Robbie Kondor perform together for the first time in New York City at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Monday, June 30th at 7:00 pm. Emily Bindiger is an American singer, belonging to the award-winning a cappella group The Accidentals. Bindiger has recorded for soundtracks for movies such as The Stepford Wives, One Life to Live, Bullets Over Broadway, Everyone Says I Love You, Donnie Brasco, The Hudsucker Proxy, Michael Collins and The Tune. Robbie Kondor is an American composer, session musician, and arranger. He has worked as a composer on The Significant Other, Ball In The House, Sally Jessy Raphael, Happiness, The Suburbans, Forever Fabulous,Drawing Angel, Series 7: The Contenders, Home Delivery and Equality U. He has worked as a producer for The Sum of All Fears, and as an arranger on Beaches, and the 32nd Annual Grammy Awards. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: FLY UP! WITH JOSHUA DIXON

Joshua Dixon, after thrilling audiences in Scott Evan Davis' PICTURE PERFECT, returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, June 22nd at 7:00 pm in his solo cabaret debut, FLY UP! Featuring songs by Rogers & Hammerstein, Bastille, Andrew Lippa, & Stephen Sondheim and others, the show will explore his trials, tribulations, and triumphs of growing up Mormon, or in fact, simply growing up. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: ZANNA, DON'T! CLASS REUNION AT 54 BELOW

The 2003 cult favorite musical Zanna, Don't! returns to New York for one night only for a very special concert at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, June 30th reuniting the original Off-Broadway cast and benefiting the Hetrick-Martin Institute. Performances are at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. This musical fairy tale is set in a world where gay is the norm, the chess team is cool, and the football players are dorks. When the students put on an original musical about the hot-button issue of straights in the military (because if musical theater won't address important political issues, what will?), the opposite-sex leads realize their true feelings for each other and all hell breaks loose in the quiet town of Heartsville. It's up to magical matchmaker Zanna to put things right and bring love to all - including himself! The concert will feature original Off-Broadway cast members Anika Larsen, Darius Nichols, Amanda Ryan Paige, Jai Rodriguez, Enrico Rodriguez, Robb Sapp, and Shelley Thomas. Presented by Adam Grosswirth and Jonathan Tessero (who will also music direct), both members of the original production staff. There is a $30-$40 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
